Opened in 1917, this bridge has been ferrying people and goods between Queens and the Bronx for over 100 years! The Hell Gate Bridge is a passenger and freight railroad bridge located in New York City that connects Astoria, Queens and Port Morris, Bronx by way of Randalls and Wards Islands. It's one of few rail connections of Long Island to the rest of the United States.
Measures 14.5" long (12" piece of track equivalent), 2.6" thick and 5" tall. Bridge graphics are printed directly on the wood; train tracks are engraved.
NOTE: Bridge track pair (SKU 10565) are not included but are required to ascend and descend from bridge level.
