Wee Forest Folk Miniatures T-11 - Hansel & Gretel Bears at the Witch's House

This beautiful piece by Wee Forest Folk is inspired by the German fairy tale Hansel & Gretel. Hansel and Gretel are siblings who are lost in the forest and fall into the hands of a witch who lives in a house made of bread, cake, and sugar. In this tiny miniature scene created by Wee Forest Folk, Hansel, Gretel and the witch are all tiny teddy bears. This piece is quite a bit heavier than most other Wee Forest Folk pieces and the attention to detail is impressive. It's colorful, sweet, and nostalgic. What an amazing gift this will be at a fairy tale themed baby shower, or nestled under a glass cloche on a kitchen shelf. Comes in a plain box for gifting and storage. The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
