This Wee Forest Folk mouse has trained a wee caterpillar she met in her garden, and they hope to win best in show for conformation and obedience. They only have one chance before our cute green caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly! We love this piece for so many reasons, including our mouse's pink dress with a polka dot bow in back, and the pretty blue leash made of ribbon. Collect this piece in different colors and have a miniature caterpillar show of your own! Couldn't be any cuter for a gardener, a friend who shows dogs, or any miniature enthusiast. This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" (h) x 1.5" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
