Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-263 - A Midnight Clear

This Wee Forest Folk figurine, A Midnight Clear, is a beautiful holiday figurine for your miniature Christmas village. The scene depicts a tiny mouse angel carrying a lantern lighting the way to a tiny white glitter church on Christmas Eve. She wears a halo, of course, a sparkling gown, and she's pulling a sled carrying gifts. Did you notice her little blue wings? The scene sits on a beautiful base and includes a teeny bottlebrush tree. This piece reminds us of nostalgic little glitter houses, or "putzes." If you were to only have one WFF piece on display, this would be a good choice. It would be wonderful under a small glass cloche nestled in some artificial snow.

This vintage Wee Forest Folk piece is in excellent condition and has all the right details to become a family heirloom! It comes in a box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Donna Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 3" (H) x 3" (W).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
