Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-239 - Scamper (Red)

This sweet little Wee Forest Folk miniature village sign is a perfect way to identify your miniature mouse village for admirers. Scamper has found a ladder and climbed to the top of the wall to surprise mother mouse. He's checking to see if his red yo-yo can reach the ground from way up high! Don't forget to turn the figurine around to see the tiny ladder leaning against the wall and the patch on the back of Scamper's trousers. Mother mouse wears a red dress with white polka-dots and a white apron. She carries a slice of delicious cheese (perhaps to encourage Scamper to come down off the all before he gets hurt). So many fun details! This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.75" (h) x 2.75" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
