This Vintage Wee Forest Folk Christmas figurine, The Nutcracker, will be a wonderful addition to your miniature holiday display! A little mouse in her white gown and tiara holds a beautifully painted holiday nutcracker in red. This figurine has so many wonderful details, including Miss Mousey's tiny pink ballet slippers, her signature leather tail, and an elaborately painted nutcracker. A true vintage treasure and a beautiful holiday gift for someone special. This vintage Wee Forest Folk piece is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. Sculpted and initialed by Donna Petersen in 1991. Approximate dimensions: 1.375" (h) x 1.375" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
