This Wee Forest Folk miniature was inspired by the fairy tale, "Little Red Riding Hood." Another masterpiece by Donna Petersen, with an elaborate floral base including a garden gate, pink flowers, and of course, Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf in front of Grandmother's House! This piece has a bit more weight to it than most Wee Forest Folk pieces. Beautiful in your curio cabinet, or under a glass cloche. What a treasure this piece will be at a fairy tale baby shower or in your miniature village or miniature display. This miniature figurine is in excellent / new condition and comes in a box for gifting or storage. Sculpted and initialed by Donna Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 3.25" x 3.375".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
