Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-169 - Hans & Greta

Two little Dutch mice named Hans & Greta by Wee Forest Folk. We expect they may be on their way to the Tulip Festival. Hans couldn't be any cuter in his pinstripe trousers with a patch on the back, and Greta wears a traditional Dutch bonnet and carries a purple tulip. Both mice have traditional wooden shoes / clogs, and signature leather tails. Both mice share one base which is a special feature since the two were made as separate pieces starting in 1992. This vintage piece is in excellent condition. It will be shipped in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.75" x 1.75".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
