This vintage Wee Forest Folk mouse figurine is so proud on commencement day wearing a blue cap and gown and carrying a diploma. Our little mouse has a dual major in scurrying about, and eating cheese (two very important skills in the life of a tiny field mouse)! Congratulations to the graduate! This miniature figurine sculpted in the 1980's by Annette Petersen is in excellent condition and makes a special graduation gift. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 2.0" (h) x 0.75" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
