Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-148 - Tooth Fairy (Blue)

This Wee Forest Folk Tooth Fairy is a sweet commemorative figurine for a child that has lost, or is about to lose, a tooth. If you can catch this little fairy mouse, she would be especially adorable displayed under a tiny glass cloche. She wears a light blue gown, a gold tiara, and carries a tiny magic wand in one hand and a tooth in the other! Like all proper fairies, she has little wings. Like all proper wee forest folk, she also has a leather tail! Standing upon a tiny pillow base, this vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.5" (h) x 1.375" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
