Wee Forest Folk Miniatures M-138 - Fun Float (Red)

This tiny mouse figurine has found a puddle at the beach and is enjoying the summer sunshine atop his red and blue inflatable tube. What a Fun Float! Don't stay out too long wee mouse, or you might get a sunburn on that tiny pink nose! The tubes with a solid color on top were the first produced and were available from 1986 - 1995. Very cool to have one of the originals in your collection. Some of the subsequent versions were made with polka dots or other details painted on the tube. This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition. It comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 0.75" (h) x 1.0" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
