This Wee Forest Folk figurine shows a mother mouse in her spring bonnet taking her baby mouse for a walk in the garden. As they walk along the white picket garden fence, they stop to admire the lush garden beds filled with flowers and to say hello to a hovering bumble bee. A beautiful addition to your spring, Easter, and summer miniature displays. A perfect gift for someone who loves gardening, flowers, bees, and other tiny things. Approximate dimensions: 1.75" x 2.25".  Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Retired in 2014.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
