This vintage Wee Forest Folk figurine is a sweet babysitter mouse reading to a sleepy baby in a pink nightgown. They're snuggled together in a cozy yellow arm chair with lacy head and arm rest protectors. So nostalgic! Our babysitter mouse could be a mother, grandmother, or trusty neighbor, but one thing is certain; she adores her baby! Makes a wonderful gift on Mother's Day, or for the special person that babysits your little one. Adorable at a baby shower or under a tiny glass cloche in the nursery. This vintage miniature figurine from the 1980's is in excellent condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.875" x 1.75".

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
