Miss Bobbin is the oldest piece in the Wee Forest Folk line and one of Annette Petersen's favorites! This specific figurine is an early piece, sculpted and initialed by Annette in 1979, and is a perfect example of true vintage charm. Our little mouse works at her vintage sewing machine making something special out of scraps of fabric she found on the floor. We love the color threads she's chosen in shades of green. What a treasure for a collector of Wee Forest Folk or lover of all things vintage. She would look stunning under a tiny cloche in your sewing room! The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
