Wee Forest Folk Miniatures CC-5 - Ghost of Christmas Present
This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse is the Ghost of Christmas Present from Charles Dickens' 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol, in which Scrooge receives nocturnal visits from three Ghosts of Christmas, each representing a different period in Scrooge's life. A friendly and cheerful spirit, this mouse wears a fur-lined green robe and a crown of holly. He is surrounded by plentiful food and drink, a vision of opulence, generosity, and the good things of Christmas. He carries a torch in the shape of a horn of plenty which sheds light down upon Scrooge. This spirit shows Scrooge the joys and hardships experienced by his fellow man on one Christmas day, including those of Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim. A classic holiday collectible to accompany Scrooge and the other mice in the Wee Forest Folk Christmas Carol Collection (each sold separately). This miniature figurine is in excellent / like new condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting and storage. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 2.25" (h) x 1.5" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
