Wee Forest Folk Miniatures CC-3 - Marley's Ghost

This tiny Wee Forest Folk mouse figurine depicts Marley's Ghost from Charles Dickens' 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol. Our wee mouse is dressed in a white robe, caries silver chains and has a bandage about his head. A tormented little ghost, being punished in the afterlife for not sharing his cheese, Mouse Marley instills fear in Scrooge and by doing so offers Scrooge a chance at redemption. A classic holiday collectible. This miniature figurine is in excellent / like new condition and comes in a Wee Forest Folk box for gifting. Sculpted by Annette Petersen. Approximate dimensions: 1.75" (h) x 1" (w).

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
