Wee Forest Folk Limited Edition LTD-10 - A Stitch in Time 1970's (A)

This special Wee Forest Folk figurine depicts two little mice in a dressing room in the 1970's. One is admiring herself in the mirror in her hippie attire including a green shirt with flowers, pink bell bottoms, a daisy chain headband, and a peace sign necklace. Her companion gleefully observes from atop a bean bag chair. A guitar is on the floor nearby. Every detail is delightful. A perfect miniature to sit on the dresser of any fashionista, especially one that appreciates the hippie style of the 1970's peace movement. Expertly sculpted and initialed by Willy Petersen. Approximately 2.5" wide x 2.5" tall. Includes a Wee Forest Folk box for storage and gifting.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
