This vintage Limited Edition Wee Forest Folk figurine is from 1984. This little mouse is the town Postmouster, and is busy emptying letters from the US mailbox into his postal sack. He looks up to squeak hello as you pass by your display cabinet, but he doesn't have time to dilly dally. He's a hard worker and takes pride in his postal uniform and cap! Whether you're a serious Wee Forest Folk collector adding depth to your collection, or someone who wants to start their collection at the beginning, this is a very special piece to own. Expertly sculpted and graced with Willy Petersen's full signature. Approximately 1.5" wide x 1.625" tall. Includes a Wee Forest Folk box for storage and gifting.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
