Wee Forest Folk Forest Scenes FS-4 - Mountain Stream (Yellow)

This sweet miniature figurine is the fourth piece in the Wee Forest Folk FOREST SCENES collection. Two tiny mice are snuggled together on a log above an alpine mountain stream. Little Miss Mousey in her sunny yellow dress is resting her head on the shoulder of her favorite hiking partner. He's so handsome dressed in a traditional lederhosen (we had to look it up, too) and hiking boots. The Forest Scene pieces are heavier and more detailed than many of the pieces in the main mouse line. If you have limited space, this would be a beautiful series to collect. A sweet gift for someone you love on Valentine's Day, or an anniversary. A special addition to any Wee Forest Folk collector's display. This vintage miniature figurine is in excellent condition and comes in a box for gifting and storage. Approximate dimensions: 2" x 2".

Production: This piece was produced from 1991 until its retirement in 2001. This specific piece was made in 1991, the first year of production, and includes the original date sticker.

The Petersen Family have been crafting Wee Forest Folk exquisite miniatures since 1972 right here in the USA. A Wee Forest Folk figurine begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality.
